Product Policy

1. All products except courses are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
2. All orders placed online will be fulfilled within 15 business days unless otherwise advised. Business days exclude Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays.

Course policy

Registration

1. For any registration of courses, please contact our customer service via WhatsApp  98362486
2. The Student is not entitled to receive any materials for any classes which he or she has not paid for. In the event that the Student is registered for any of the Registered Course(s) after an Academic Year has begun, the Student will only receive worksheets from the date on which he or she began attending the Registered Course(s).
3. Please take note that our official communication channel is via our WhatsApp. All important notices including materials and code for online class will be released via WhatsApp. Please pay attention to the notifications in WhatsApp.
4. Weekly Worksheet will only be shared in WhatsApp 1 day in advance for online class or on the day for physical class.

Responsibility

5. Parents must inform us the real age and grade of the child before registration. Any losses incurred by not informing us the real age and grade of the child will be borne by the parents themselves.
6. Parents must inform us in advance if the child has food allergies.
7. All classes in the size of 6 pax will require the cooperation of parents and Students to complete weekly homework. Students are required to promptly correct the mistakes made in the homework marked by the teacher.
8. If Students need the teacher to mark the homework, please hand it in within 7 days after the relevant class. Beyond time will be regarded as automatically giving up the service of correction.
9. The homework handed in should be in PDF form or hardcopy. Otherwise, we cannot provide correction services.
10. At the end of each term, we arrange for teachers to communicate with parents. Please make an appointment with our customer service in the last week of each term. Otherwise, it will be deemed to be abandoned automatically.

Tuition fee

11. We do not charge registration fee, GST, material fee. If the Student misplace their worksheet or booklet, we will not provide duplicate copy.
12. Tuition fee shall be paid on a term basis. The tuition fee for each term will be based on the commencement date and price provided via WhatsApp. Tuition fee must be paid before the commencement of the 1st class.
13. A one-time Free trial group lesson (Group) is available for Chinese course. Please make arrangements with our admin before taking the trial lesson.
14. The Company does not accept any verbal request to make reservations for any tuition classes. Reservation of seats will be made after payment of tuition fees on a first come first served basis.

Make-up Classes

15. In the event that the Student fails to attend a class in any of the Registered Courses, the Company may at its sole discretion, allow the Student to make-up the missed lesson by attending another ongoing class during the same academic week (i.e. from Monday to Sunday), provided that:

1. there is more than 1 class;
2. there is a vacancy in the class that the Student intends to attend as the make-up class; and
3. the Student or Parent submits either of the following original documents:

1. Medical certificate; or
2. Letter from the school, which states that the Student has compulsory school activities, the timing of which clashes with the Student’s classes at the Company; or
3. Travelling for 5 days or more. Students traveling overseas for an extended period will have to provide the relevant travel documents to our counter administrative staff for processing.

16. In the event that it is not possible to arrange a make-up class due to no vacancy in other classes, and the Student or Parent informs the Company 5 working days before the commencement of the class, the Company shall provide the video recording of the class and the worksheet to the Student. Otherwise, the Company shall only provide the worksheet to the Student. Student must submit his or her worksheet for marking within 7 days after receiving the worksheet.

Refunds

18. Unless otherwise stated, all monies paid are non-refundable and non-transferable to another Student, regardless of whether the Registered Course(s) has / have commenced.

Transfers

19. A written request for transfer must be given at least one Calendar Month before the transfer from one course to another. Transfer of class can only be made for the same course and level.

Intellectual Property & Media Rights

20. Unless otherwise stated, the Company owns the intellectual property and / or licensing rights subsisting in all worksheets and other study materials distributed or used during the Registered Course(s), and both the Parent and Student are prohibited from copying, reproducing, modifying, distributing, displaying, performing or transmitting in any form or by any means whatsoever (including mechanical, electronic, recording, photocopying or otherwise) the abovementioned worksheets and other study materials without the Company’s prior written permission.
21. The Company may copy, reproduce, display, distribute and use any photographs or videos taken of the Student during the Registered Course(s), as well as any intellectual property produced by the Student as part of the Registered Course(s).
22. The Student hereby agrees to grant to the Company a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform, and display such works of the Student created in the course of or in preparation for Registered Courses(s) (in whole or part) worldwide and/or to incorporate it in other works in any form, media, or technology now known or later developed.
23. The Company may publish the Student’s academic achievements in any form or media at any time, even after the Student has withdrawn from the Course(s). Notwithstanding the foregoing, the parents or Students may write in to the Company if it has any enquiry or issue with the published media. The Company disclaims any liability for any intellectual property issue or claim that may arise therein.

Other Conditions

24. The Company reserves the right to, and shall in its sole discretion, (a) transfer, combine or dissolve a class, and / or (b) terminate the Student’s place in any of the Registered Course(s).
25. While the Company will take reasonable effort to ensure that the classes are taught by the assigned tutor for the same subject and level, the Company reserves the right to, and shall in its sole discretion, change or replace the assigned tutor as it deems fit.
26. While the Company will take reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of the Student, the Company assumes no liability for personal injury, loss or damage of any kind whatsoever which might be sustained by the Student in undertaking any activity or anything during the Registered Course(s), whether under the discretion of the Company or otherwise, and generally for any such injury, loss or damage howsoever caused except by the wilful default of the Company.
27. The Parent hereby releases the Company from all liability for such injury, loss or damage of any other kind whatsoever which might be sustained by the Student in undertaking any activity during the Registered Course(s) or / and in the premise, whether under the direction of the Company or otherwise, and generally for any such injury, loss or damage howsoever caused except by the wilful default of the Company.
28. The Company shall not be liable for any default due to any act of God, war, strike, lockout, industrial action, fire, flood, drought, tempest or other event beyond the Company’s reasonable control.
29. The final interpretation of this policy stated herein is at the sole discretion of the Company.
